As the error says, there is probably a corrupt file on your system.
Whatvar/lib/dpkg/alternatives/x-cursor-theme ?

if you remove /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/x-cursor-theme ?

I removed the file /var/lib/dpkg/alternatives/x-cursor-theme and after  
that every thing runs well.
Thanks for your help.
The error came from a normal apt-get update followed by apt-get dist- 
upgrade. So I thought this was an system error and the file looked like  
a binary.
