Hello,

I have a behavior a bit different. Maybe because the patch mentionned in
http://bugs.xmms.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1611 is now applied upstream.

With ALSA output, if I clic on the pause button the sound is paused. OK.
The log message is "Message: alsa_pause"

If I now clic on play the sound restart for a fraction of a second then
stop.
The log message is "Message: alsa_pause"

If I clic on play again the sound start from the beginning as reported
by the original bug submitter.
The log message is:

The pause/play buttons works correctly when the output is OSS.

Hope this will help finding the bug.

Bye,
