This bug seems to be due to changes in cdbs, which in newer versions recognizes the existence of python2.4. Because you pull the list of python versions from cdbs, despite only actually building packages for two of these versions; and because you don't build-depend on python2.4-dev, and don't ignore errors from this command in debian/rules, this package now FTBFS on all architectures.
