Hi. I discovered the cause of the problem: I had dash installed as /bin/sh instead of bash. Changing back bash to be /bin/sh makes the postinst script work normally as expected.
I guess that this could be considered as a "bashism" in the postinst scripts and should, therefore, be fixed in a future version of java-package. Hope this helps, Rogrio. -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Rogrio Brito - [EMAIL PROTECTED] - http://www.ime.usp.br/~rbrito =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
