Package: base
Severity: wishlist

I think that it will be much of use to add:

Screenshot(s): http_path

to deb package description for graphical package handling programs.

More description.

Screenshot: or Screenshots: will have link to http address with pictures
describing how the program looks like for example:
http://screenshots.debian.org/kde/konqueror/shots.html
or
http://screenshots.debian.org/games/gnurobbo/robbo.png

graphical kernel handling software would be able to download such
screenshots and show them with information about the package.

Probably it should be good to do both Screenshot: and Screenshots:
commands to give address of single picture for downloading as
a thumbnail and a link for index.html with more of them.

I think that it will not require any work for package handling programs
except of additional routines in graphical package installers.

Of course it will be necessery to create additional serwer with images.
possible the other way is to make Screenshot as a name of a picture
relative to Debian pool and place all images with sources and debs in
pool.

What do you think about my proposition?
