That doesn't matter in Debian, you should just upload with the same source package name unless there's a very good reason not to. I don't see such reason cited. > aj> There's little point removing the package from unstable if you're > aj> going to upload a new version RSN anyway. > > I guess my wording was not clear in the original bugreport. I don't understand why you're waiting for removal to upload new packages -- that's never have been a requirement. Just upload if you have them, or don't if you don't have updated packages. Choose source package name carefully, and the old version gets superseded automatically. > Please suggest me if there is a better way I can get the new packages > into the testing. So this is a serious (pseudo-)bug on gnuradio, justification: "Maintainer considers this version unsuitable for release". This bug will serve to make sure testing will not ship with gnuradio 0.9. > I am reassigning it back to ftp.debian.org And reassigning back again. Please ask on debian-mentors@lists.debian.org if you still have questions before reassigning this bug/readjusting severity. --Jeroen -- Jeroen van Wolffelaar [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://jeroen.A-Eskwadraat.nl -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
