Package: php-elisp Version: 1.5.0-1.1 Severity: normal When php-elisp is installed, running
xemacs21 -q /tmp/x.php gets an error File mode specification error: (invalid-read-syntax ")") I see /usr/lib/emacsen-common/packages/install/php-elisp deliberately skips xemacs, but it looks like /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50php-elisp.el (autoload 'php-mode "php-elisp/php-mode" "mode for editing php files" t) picks up /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/php-elisp/php-mode.el because /usr/share/emacs/site-lisp is in the usual xemacs load-path. Perhaps 50php-elisp.el could confine its setups to relevant emacsen by checking for the byte compile flavour directory -- as currently commented out, and preferably using debian-emacs-flavor which I believe is the documented flavour variable. Bug #584785 might address this too. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-486 Locale: LANG=en_AU, LC_CTYPE=en_AU (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages php-elisp depends on: ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a+1-5.7 ii emacs22-gtk [emacsen] 22.3+1-1.2 ii emacs23 [emacsen] 23.3+1-1 ii xemacs21-mule [emacsen] 21.4.22-3.2 Versions of packages php-elisp recommends: pn speedbar <none> Versions of packages php-elisp suggests: pn php5 <none> pn php5-cli <none> -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
