For the packaging of phc in debian, which I would like to have packaged, we need some way to allow the embedding of php. I will look into packaging of them both together and uploading them to debian mentors. Really php embedded could be it own package like discussed. it should be possible to host the debs produced on debian mentors server or somewhere else until we have a final solution.
