Package: bzip2
Version: 1.0.2-2
Severity: normal

If a named file on the commandline happens to be a fifo, bzip2 will
hang indefinitely trying to open it. (Possibly this only happens if
the fifo is unattached). Of course, it's a silly idea to try to include
such an object for compression, but they occasionally get caught when
you're doing something like 'bzip2 *'.

Hardly a showstopper. Probably the type of file should be checked, and
rejected if it's an abnormal kind of object.
