You don't have to, though it'd be very good. Everything is available
from the web interface.

Not quite. As I said, kfreebsd branch is used for developing
kFreeBSD-related features and then merged back to the main tree, but it
is out of sync with it.

Try tip.tar.bz2, as I said previously. It's been done long time ago
already.
