Package: libpcre3 Version: 1:8.30-4 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-CC: dansguard...@packages.debian.org
Disclaimer: I am still using an old dansguardian (2.9.9.7-2.1, last pre-2.10 packaged version) because http://bugs.debian.org/536778 which in itself is a blow in the face of us developers, but that's another story which *should not* be related to compatibility breakages... After upgrading from 8.12-4 and restarting dansguardian (thanks logrotate), dansguardian began refusing virtually all pages. The cause appears to be any non-commented-out pattern from the bannedregexpurllist file. After downgrading just libpcre3 back to 8.12-4, it starts working again. Now dansguardian does not have a lot of debug traces to activate, and I didn't look at the libpcre API yet. Any idea of a particular change that could cause such a breakage ? -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (500, 'oldstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages libpcre3 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-27 ii multiarch-support 2.13-27 libpcre3 recommends no packages. libpcre3 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- debsums errors found: debsums: package libpcre3 is not installed -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
