Does it really do what you wanted? Were the S links for vsftp changed to K links in its start runlevels (properly disabled) or were they removed alltogether (not really disabled, technically incosistent state)? Whats ls /etc/rc*.d/*vsftp say after doing these steps? > > What is this message intended to convey? Could it be reworded?
