Ok, On investigation, i've changed libslang2-modules to: (1) be multiarch aware (ie multiarch: same) (2) Ship its modules in /usr/lib/${ARCH}/slang/v2/modules as this seemed the most sensible behaviour for slang2.
I'll leave this bug open until jed searches in the new location. regards Alastair On 2012-04-11 10:43, Alastair McKinstry wrote: > Hi, > > Ok, will I alter slang2 to shop its modules in > /usr/lib/${ARCH}/slang/v2/modules, then? > > regards > Alastair > > > On 2012-04-10 13:16, Marc Haber wrote: >> On Thu, Mar 15, 2012 at 02:32:49PM +0100, Marc Haber wrote: >>> jed has begun to search for its modules (for example, pcre-module.so) >>> in /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/slang/v2/modules, while the package still >>> ships them in /usr/lib/slang/v2/modules/pcre-module.so. >> Currently, jed looks for the file in: >> >> /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/tls/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/tls/pcre-module.so >> /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/tls/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/tls/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pcre-module.so >> /lib/tls/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /lib/tls/pcre-module.so >> /lib/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /lib/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/tls/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/tls/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/x86_64/pcre-module.so >> /usr/lib/pcre-module.so >> /usr/share/locale/locale.alias >> /usr/share/locale/en_US/LC_MESSAGES/libc.mo >> /usr/share/locale/en/LC_MESSAGES/libc.mo >> >> Greetings >> Marc >> > -- Alastair McKinstry , <alast...@sceal.ie> , <mckins...@debian.org> http://blog.sceal.ie Anyone who believes exponential growth can go on forever in a finite world is either a madman or an economist - Kenneth Boulter, Economist. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
