I use vanilla 2.6.10 with gensplash patches (available in alioth on the debsplash project). As i said i may try other comination of cdrecord and kernel but for a few days i ll enjoy my working setup. I took quite some time already to get there. And there is a lot of combinations to test between the 2.0 and 2.01 cdrecord and 2.6.7 (known working). I don't expect to try debian version. The fix for 2.6.8 was said to be included upstream in 2.6.9 (though something new breaking in 2.6.10). Do you know of patches in debian version about those problems ? I have only guessed best target from the few post i found in google, without real knowledge of the current ide developments. Alban
