Package: libfribidi-bin Version: 0.19.2-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer, I was helping someone with a bidi issue, and received the following message on a debian command line:
The program 'fribidi' is currently not installed. To run 'fribidi' please ask your administrator to install the package 'libfribidi0' fribidi: command not found The problem with that message is that the debian package for the command-line utility is libfribidi-bin. This became frustrating for me as that package was, in fact, already installed. Please correct the (well-intentioned) 'helpful' message. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libfribidi-bin depends on: ii libc6 2.13-27 ii libfribidi0 0.19.2-3 libfribidi-bin recommends no packages. libfribidi-bin suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
