Package: ftp.debian.org Severity: normal The testsuite of this packages crashes randomly, see [1] and [2]. In particular, this is blocking the octave transition [3].
Also, the (upcoming) octave-openmpi-ext package [4] provides similar functionality using the more mature MPI interface. We may reintroduce the package in the future if sufficient interest is expressed and the random failures are fixed.
