Just as a follow up, could we get fonts-ubuntu uploaded into contrib? We could see about what's needed for moving it into main later once the appropriate requirements are met and the right people are happy.
I believe fonts-ubuntu is the correct name for this package, following Debian's relatively new http://wiki.debian.org/Fonts/PackagingPolicy My understanding of what Paul stated a few months ago is that Canonical/Ubuntu would be just happy to get it into Debian however's best, but he didn't want to force for its inclusion if Debian didn't want it.
