Could you please elaborate on what you call the MMX color conversion bug? If you mean the accidentally disabled MMX routines, they are fixed in 0.4.0b and this the version that is packaged, so it should no longer be present. Can you confirm? Otherwise, since upstream changed the API of the library, and it is not stable yet, there will be some time before it can be upgraded to current CVS.
