Package: git-annex
Version: 3.20120123~bpo60+4
Severity: normal

Hi,

In a repository which was uninitialized (git annex uninit; then checked
that the git-annex branch is no longer there), running `git annex
status` will reinitialize the repository. I'd expect the command would
behave as if the annex repository was never initialized. I also thought
that the uninit command would leave the repository as it would have been
without ever having been annexed.

Greetings,
Denis

PS. I've also verified this with git-annex version 3.20120418 (from
unstable).
