Package: git-annex Version: 3.20120123~bpo60+4 Severity: normal Hi,
In a repository which was uninitialized (git annex uninit; then checked that the git-annex branch is no longer there), running `git annex status` will reinitialize the repository. I'd expect the command would behave as if the annex repository was never initialized. I also thought that the uninit command would leave the repository as it would have been without ever having been annexed. Greetings, Denis PS. I've also verified this with git-annex version 3.20120418 (from unstable). -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.4 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_CA.utf8, LC_CTYPE=fr_CA.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git-annex depends on: ii git [git-core] 1:1.7.9-1~bpo60+1 fast, scalable, distributed revisi ii git-core 1:1.7.9-1~bpo60+1 fast, scalable, distributed revisi ii libc6 2.11.3-3 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libffi5 3.0.9-3 Foreign Function Interface library ii libgmp3c2 2:4.3.2+dfsg-1 Multiprecision arithmetic library ii libpcre3 8.02-1.1 Perl 5 Compatible Regular Expressi ii openssh-client 1:5.5p1-6+squeeze1 secure shell (SSH) client, for sec ii rsync 3.0.7-2 fast remote file copy program (lik ii uuid 1.6.2-1 the Universally Unique Identifier ii wget 1.12-2.1 retrieves files from the web git-annex recommends no packages.
