reopen 671569 thanks hardening-check (from hardening-includes) tells that hardening is enabled on amd64 (GTK client). But looking at 2.51-2 build logs tells that Qt client isn't hardened. http://ruderich.org/simon/blhc/ is a small parser written in Perl which checks the build logs for missing hardening flags. It can be used on build logs created by dpkg-buildpackage or buildd.
