Why doesn't it use /net/ipv4/conf/all/rp_filter ?
Isn't that the whole point of the all subdirectory.

As it should, it is invalid key.

Or use the right key.  I have a real problem with getting sysctl to 
expand the keys; the admin should be pretty explicit about what 
he/she is turning on or off.
