severity 672483 serious severity 655740 serious merge 672483 655740 thanks Hi,
dnet-common has a lovely habit of breaking networking for people who least expect it. See https://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2012/05/msg01624.html for yet another example of somebody installing other packages suddenly wondering why things have broken, because of library dependencies pulling in libdnet and then dnet-common. For the very small number of people who actually *want* DECnet, they can work out how to install dnet-common themselves. Please drop the recommends ASAP, it's dangerous. -- Steve McIntyre, Cambridge, UK. st...@einval.com "When C++ is your hammer, everything looks like a thumb." -- Steven M.
