Package: debsums Version: 2.0.51 Severity: normal When debsums is installed, reportbug calls it for any package it is called for. But if there's a multiarch library in this list, reportbug will fail:
$ reportbug libopenal1 Getting status for libopenal1... Verifying package integrity... There may be a problem with your installation of libopenal1; the following problems were detected by debsums: debsums: package libopenal1 is not installed Do you still want to file a report [y|N|q|?]? This is because there's no /var/lib/dpkg/info/libopenal1.list, the file list is in /var/lib/dpkg/info/libopenal1:i386.list (in my case anyway). I'm not sure if this is reportbug issue or debsums issue, but I'd say debsums should definitely understand "arch-less-named" multiarch-enabled packages, using default dpkg architecture perhaps, so that it will be possible to use more natural debsums -c libopenal1 instead of debsums -c libopenal1:i386 Thanks, /mjt -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.0.0-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=ru_RU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=ru_RU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages debsums depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.42 ii libdpkg-perl 1.16.3 ii libfile-fnmatch-perl 0.02-1+b2 ii perl 5.14.2-9 ii ucf 3.0025+nmu3 debsums recommends no packages. debsums suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
