Package: debsums
Version: 2.0.51
Severity: normal

When debsums is installed, reportbug calls it for any package it is called
for. But if there's a multiarch library in this list, reportbug will fail:

$ reportbug libopenal1
Getting status for libopenal1...
Verifying package integrity...
There may be a problem with your installation of libopenal1;
the following problems were detected by debsums:
debsums: package libopenal1 is not installed
Do you still want to file a report [y|N|q|?]?

This is because there's no /var/lib/dpkg/info/libopenal1.list, the file
list is in /var/lib/dpkg/info/libopenal1:i386.list (in my case anyway).

I'm not sure if this is reportbug issue or debsums issue, but I'd say
debsums should definitely understand "arch-less-named" multiarch-enabled
packages, using default dpkg architecture perhaps, so that it will be
possible to use more natural

 debsums -c libopenal1

instead of

 debsums -c libopenal1:i386

Thanks,

/mjt
