You didn't try it because your syntax is wrong.
pilot-schlep works exactly as documented, and your proposed
"fixes" are not correct, nor will they work. This is not a bug, its
probably an ID-10-T error.
In 0.12.0, the commands have changed, however... please be
aware of the change.
-i, --install file
Pack and install file to your Palm
-f, --fetch file
Unpack the file from your Palm device
-d, --delete
Delete the packaged file from your Palm device

-p and --port are required options, without question.
