Today I decided to try gnome-gpg. I started it up and it asks me to enter the password for GPG. No mater if I choose Anonymous mode or authenticated mode, gnome-gpg shows a message "GPG terminated abnormally" and terminates. If I start it from gnome-terminal, when I choose OK on the login dialog, the wollowing appears in the terminal: gpg: Go ahead and type your message ... At this moment the dialog is non-responsive and it seems gpg is waiting for me to enter something on the terminal, because if I press Ctrl-D, it continues: gpg: processing message failed: eof At which point the "gpg exited abnormally" dialog appears and the same appears on the terminal. To me this seems like some kinf of problem of communication between gnome-gpg and gpg. I am not an expert, though. If I can provide more information, please ask.
