If I understood you correctly, the following would be a better subject
for this bug:
  "xorg.conf created by amdcccle causes X to crash while starting"

If you move your xorg.conf aside,
* does aticonfig produce a working xorg.conf?
* does amdcccle produce a working xorg.conf?
How do these configs look like?
What was the "input" xorg.conf to amdcccle and how did the faulty
xorg.conf look like?
Does the faulty xorg.conf (i.e. with some duplicate sections) work with
the vesa or radeon drivers? (Commenting out the 'Driver "fglrx"' lines
should be sufficient to disable fglrx.)

Install xserver-xorg-core-dbg to get some more info in the stack trace.
