Package: git-annex Version: 3.20120511 Severity: normal hello
Trying out git annex on a rather large collection (~200k taking 120Gb) of bzip2 data snapshot files. In contrast to other git commands git annex operations seem not to properly scale to that number of files. I can't provide public access to the data, as the scientific analysis and the simulations runs are still ongoing, but if you want private ssh access to the data collection this can of course be arranged. thank you -- maks -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (900, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.3.0-trunk-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages git-annex depends on: ii git 1:1.7.10-1 ii libc6 2.13-32 ii libffi5 3.0.10-3 ii libgmp10 2:5.0.5+dfsg-1.1 ii libpcre3 1:8.30-5 ii openssh-client 1:5.9p1-5 ii rsync 3.0.9-1 ii uuid 1.6.2-1.3 ii wget 1.13.4-3 git-annex recommends no packages.
