Package: ir-keytable Severity: normal Streamzap remotes use a protocol rc-5-sz. ir-keytable does not seem to support this protocol, and thus can't enable/disable it. The kernel handles it just fine:
~$ cat /sys/class/rc/rc0/protocols rc-5 nec rc-6 jvc sony [rc-5-sz] mce_kbd lirc But ir-keytable just calls it "other": ~$ sudo ir-keytable Found /sys/class/rc/rc0/ (/dev/input/event5) with: Driver streamzap, table rc-streamzap Supported protocols: NEC RC-5 RC-6 JVC SONY LIRC other Enabled protocols: other Repeat delay = 500 ms, repeat period = 125 ms And ir-keytable doesn't support setting it: ~$ sudo ir-keytable -p rc-5-sz Invalid parameter(s) ir-keytable: -p: (PROGRAM ERROR) Option should have been recognized!? Try `ir-keytable --help' or `ir-keytable --usage' for more information. Ideally, ir-keytable should not have a hard-coded list of possible protocols, and should instead support whatever the kernel supports. - Josh Triplett -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=C.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
