Hi, The workaround is to unset environment variable CCACHEDIR in /etc/pbuilderrc before removing.
This variable is unconditionally set in /usr/share/pbuilder/pbuilderrc If set, both helper scripts /usr/lib/pbuilder/pbuilder-createbuildenv /usr/lib/pbuilder/pbuilder-updatebuildenv will add ccache, even if it was just removed. -Steve
