It was started automatically at 7:38, and it didn't crash:

Jun 4 07:38:09 xvii dbus[2041]: [system] Activating service
name='org.freedesktop.ColorManager' (using servicehelper)
Jun 4 07:38:09 xvii dbus[2041]: [system] Successfully activated service
'org.freedesktop.ColorManager'

and is still running (also with colord-sane, which was started
during the boot):

colord    2606     1  0 Jun03 ?        00:00:00
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/colord/colord-sane
colord   14565     1  0 07:38 ?        00:00:00
/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/colord/colord

I don't know why it was started automatically. It could be related to
cron.daily, which was run at 7:35, but I haven't seen any cron script
related to colord.

Note that colord-sane also crashed in a few occasions, but only when
shuting down (segfault at 9 ip 00007f6bf755c54c sp 00007f6bf7532b78
error 6 in libdbus-1.so.3.7.0), and not always (?); that's bug 668225
(though this bug report doesn't say when).

The colord crash seems always reproducible at boot time:
