Bug#580169: Bug still existent in 0.6.4-1

I am running Debian squeeze/stable and the bug doesn´t seem to be fixed 
in 0.6.4-1 because:

# daemon --user=<user>.<group> --running --name=<daemon-name> 
--pidfiles=/path/to/pidfiles/
# echo $?
0
