The following description from the current manpage:

Does not appear to match the behavior as shown by tracing the execution of
authbind.

The first representation of an ipv6 address searched for has the 5th,6th and
7th 16 byte chunks collapsed and is represented as the minimal nonzero
number of hex digits seperated by colons. This is an unexpected behavior and
should be documented as a valid format. Additionally it would be nice
if the manpage included at least one example of an appropriately formatted ipv6
byaddr filename.
