Package: citadel-server
Version: 8.05-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Unfortunately my ISP filters all outbound IPv4 traffic for port 25.

As a result, I need to forward all my outbound traffic from my citadel mail
server to my ISP's smarthost for further relay.

Under citadel 8.05-3 this works as expected.

Upon upgrading to citadel 8.11-2, however all outbound email fails with
“Connection broken during SMTP conversation”

No changes in configuration were made.

The expected outcome was that outbound email would continue to function as
expected.

Reverting back to citadel 8.05-3 restored outbound email.

Thank you for your time and assistance.
