Package: wine Version: 1.4.1-1 Severity: normal --- Please enter the report below this line. --- I cannot run anything using wine without a symlink /usr/local/lib/wine -> /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/wine.
There was once a locally compiled version but this has been removed. The Debian packages are looking for libs in the local (now non-existant) folder. The symlink enables wine to run, but there are other bugs around. --- System information. --- Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-686-pae Debian Release: wheezy/sid 500 unstable ftp.us.debian.org 500 testing ftp.us.debian.org 100 experimental-snapshots qt-kde.debian.net 1 experimental ftp.us.debian.org --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed ==============================-+-============== debconf (>= 0.5) | 1.5.43 OR debconf-2.0 | wine-bin (>= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 OR wine64-bin (>= 1.4.1-1) | debconf (>= 0.5) | 1.5.43 OR debconf-2.0 | libc6 (>= 2.9) | 2.13-33 libfreetype6 (>= 2.2.1) | 2.4.9-1 libice6 (>= 1:1.0.0) | 2:1.0.8-2 libjpeg8 (>= 8c) | 8d-1 libmpg123-0 (>= 1.13.7) | 1.14.2-1 libpng12-0 (>= 1.2.13-4) | 1.2.49-1 libsm6 | 2:1.2.1-2 libssl1.0.0 (>= 1.0.0) | 1.0.1c-3 libx11-6 | 2:1.5.0-1 libxcursor1 (>> 1.1.2) | 1:1.1.13-1 libxext6 | 2:1.3.1-2 libxi6 | 2:1.6.1-1 libxinerama1 | 2:1.1.2-1 libxml2 (>= 2.7.4) | 2.8.0+dfsg1-4 libxrandr2 | 2:1.3.2-2 libxrender1 | 1:0.9.7-1 zlib1g (>= 1:1.1.4) | 1:1.2.7.dfsg-11 Recommends (Version) | Installed ===============================-+-============= libgsm1 (>= 1.0.13) | 1.0.13-4 ttf-liberation | 1.07.2-3 libwine-gl (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 libwine-alsa (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 OR libwine-oss (= 1.4.1-1) | Suggests (Version) | Installed =========================================-+-============ wine-doc | binfmt-support | 2.0.8 ttf-mscorefonts-installer | 3.4+nmu1 winbind | klamav | OR clamav | 0.97.5+dfsg-1 wine-doc | libwine-cms (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 libwine-sane (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 libwine-ldap (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 libwine-print (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 libwine-openal (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 libwine-gphoto2 (= 1.4.1-1) | 1.4.1-1 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
