Package: xfce4-terminal Version: 0.4.8-1+b1 Severity: normal In Preferences / Advanced, there is a setting for "$TERM setting". But it seems not to work at all; whatever I set it to, the TERM variable is always "xterm", even in new tabs.
I tried setting it to "xterm-256color" and to set it to "FOO". -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.5 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (400, 'testing'), (300, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=fr_LU.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_LU.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages xfce4-terminal depends on: ii exo-utils 0.6.2-4 Utility files for libexo ii libatk1.0-0 2.4.0-2 ATK accessibility toolkit ii libc6 2.13-32 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libdbus-1-3 1.2.24-4+squeeze1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libdbus-glib-1-2 0.98-1 simple interprocess messaging syst ii libexo-1-0 0.6.2-4 Library with extensions for Xfce ii libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 2.26.1-1 GDK Pixbuf library ii libglib2.0-0 2.32.3-1 GLib library of C routines ii libgtk2.0-0 2.24.10-1 GTK+ graphical user interface libr ii libpango1.0-0 1.30.0-1 Layout and rendering of internatio ii libvte9 1:0.28.2-4 Terminal emulator widget for GTK+ ii libx11-6 2:1.4.99.901-2 X11 client-side library ii libxfce4util4 4.8.2-1 Utility functions library for Xfce Versions of packages xfce4-terminal recommends: ii dbus-x11 1.2.24-4+squeeze1 simple interprocess messaging syst xfce4-terminal suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
