Package: vice
Version: 2.3.dfsg-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

when running any of the VICE programs x64, x64sc, x128, xvic or xplus4 under
KDE4, the emulator seems to get stuck in "shift pressed" mode after any of
the shift keys is, well, pressed. In other words: once a shift-ed character
has been typed, all following key presses will also be interpreted as
shiftet, no matter whether the shift key has meanwhile be released or not.

The problem seems to occur under KDE4 only; when I tried x64 under XFCE or a
plain Openbox session (without KDE4), the shift key worked as expected.

Please note that xpet and xcbm2 are not affected by this problem.

Regards --

        Torsten
