Hi Loic, the submitter of Bug#679073 experiences a crash of pdftex. He managed to generate a core dump and a backtrace. It looks like this:
Core was generated by `pdftex -ini -jobname=etex -progname=etex -translate-file=cp227.tcx *etex.ini'. Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault. #0 0xe594314c in ?? () (gdb) bt #0 0xe594314c in ?? () #1 0x40158290 in PopplerCache::PopplerCache(int) () from /usr/lib/libpoppler.so.5 #2 0x40124530 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libpoppler.so.5 Cannot access memory at address 0x0 #3 0x40124530 in ?? () from /usr/lib/libpoppler.so.5 Cannot access memory at address 0x0 Backtrace stopped: previous frame identical to this frame (corrupt stack?) Which gives the idea that the problem occurs when code from the poppler lib is executed. Could you evaluate?
