Coin,As Ruby 1.9 is now the default, this application is now unusable for the default installation, thus bumping severity accordingly.
Btw, according to upstream authors, the mysql2 adapters is to be used with Ruby 1.9 instead of the traditional mysql backend. I don't understand why, but if he is right, this package is missing in Debian so there is no easy workaround. According to [1], we would need ruby-mysql2 0.2.7, and not earlier versions.
