Hi Lazlo,

  Strange bug, happens with Enlightenment 0.17 as well. Please test me
something. Start your emulator of choice and press shift. Now all coming
chars are shifted. Then only move the mouse cursor out of the emulator
window, then back. Type some characters again. Are they normal or still
shifted characters?

you guessed right -- moving the mouse cursor out of the emulator window and returning it back does indeed cause the characters to be un-shiftet again. No need to temporarily focus another window, as I initially stated.
