Maybe my observation confirms this issue: Wheezy (updated as of 04.07.2012) performs correctly when booted via sysv-init.
When booted via systemd I am unable to launch applications requiring authentication, like synaptic from the desktop. The window asking for paasword pops up but, when hiting authenticate button, it silently exits.
