I would like to invite you to take part more directly. atop is maintained on alioth in the collab-maint project. Feel free to clone the git from there. While I would like to review your patches, choose between "push directly", "send pull request" or "send patchset". I expect you, however, to deliver end-user documentation for what you did, and to take responsibility for your code after its inclusion in the package. I reserve the right to kick systemd support in the case that bugs are reported and not fixed by you in time. I don't have the time to support a non-portable, Linux-only tool at this moment, while acknowledging its usefulness on Linux.
