Package: http://bugs.debian.org/base
Version: 20120709-03:47
  Debian GNU/Linux testing wheezy i386 DVD Binary-1.iso
Weekly Build 20120709-03:47 to be Debian V7.0 eventually.

Install Report
------------------ In case of message formating problems, I used gedit 2.22.3
then Composed and sent in plain text with Firefox 3.6.17, and google.mail.

iso passed the sha512sum check and the DVD passed the CD-ROM(s)integrity check.
Whilst performing a Graphical Install and after the
set up for root plus password, and user plus password set up,
I received the 'Debian Installer' error message :-

First Symptom:-
----------------------

Load installer components from CD

No kernel modules were found.
This is probably due to a mismatch between the kernel used by this
version of the installer and the kernel version available in the
archive.
If you are installing from a mirror, you can work around this problem
by choosing to install a different version of Debian.

The install will probably fail to work if you continue without kernel modules.

Continue the install without loading kernel modules ?

<ESC> button.
Debian Installer-Main Menu ( DI-MM )
Execute a shell
# cat /var/log/syslog | /bin/more

As an aside, is it to much to ask for "less"
to be available on future binary-1 disks ?
