Package: keepalived
Severity: wishlist

We've had several strange issues with keepalived, where it would
stop working suddenly without apparent reason. It usually can be fixed just
stopping keepalived, deleting /tmp/.vrrp and starting again. It's as if the
process couldn't erase this file by itself.

I think adding a "rm" of these files to /etc/init.d/keepalived
before starting the daemon would solve the issue, and be a good safety
measure. But as I don't know yet where is the real problem, I'm
posting this as a wishlist. I would understand if you thought this is a
"hack"; but it would be very helpful, and not harm anyone. Think about it,
please :-)
