Which dependencies are you referring to ?

I am also concerned about libcgal9:
$ apt-cache show libcgal9|grep qt
returns libqt4-opengl libqtcore4 & libqtgui4

which, according to upstream, are not necessary.

For course, I am biased but I think it is worth it. Having many qt
dependencies on the library just for demos can scare people and limit
the diffusion and usage of libcgal...
