long ago you wrote this report. But sadly no one replied to this. I fully agree to you. But unfornately here is the not right place for a wishlist like this, it's something for a biger meeting or developer convetion. The packaging team is not able to go on such a big thing. I'm setting a tagging for wontfix, so your wishlist is not going down and is keep open.
