Unfortunately numexpr doesn't work with Python 3. Probably you should post on the NumExpr mailing list [1] a request for Python 3 support. FYI I started a fork [2] to implement Python 3 support for numexpr but it is still incomplete. If you are interested in having numexpr with Python 3 then maybe you would like to contribute some code :) [1] https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups#!forum/numexpr [2] http://code.google.com/r/avalentinoit-numexpr/source/browse > Given that it is packages for Python 2, it ought to be packaged for Python 3. > > THanks. > > > -- System Information: > Debian Release: wheezy/sid > APT prefers unstable > APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') > Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) > > Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) > Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=str=こんにちわ世界, > bytes_read=21, bytes_written=21) (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_GB.UTF-8) > Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash > > Versions of packages python-numexpr depends on: > ii libc6 2.13-35 > ii python 2.7.3-2 > ii python-numpy [python-numpy-abi9] 1:1.6.2-1 > ii python2.6 2.6.8-0.2 > ii python2.7 2.7.3-2 > > python-numexpr recommends no packages. > > python-numexpr suggests no packages. > > -- no debconf information > -- Antonio Valentino -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
