Package: libxml-simple-perl Version: 2.14-1 Severity: normal
As the author of the XML::Simple module, I get a lot of email enquiries from users. Many of these queries can be addressed by suggesting the user type the command: perldoc XML::Simple::FAQ Unfortunately, this does not work with the packaged version of XML::Simple on Debian because the file has been installed as: /usr/share/doc/libxml-simple-perl/FAQ.pod.gz rather than: /usr/share/perl5/XML/Simple/FAQ.pod of the 133 CPAN modules I have installed from the Debian repositories on my Sarge system, not a single one (other than libxml-simple-perl) has POD files installed under /usr/share/doc. By the way, thanks for taking the time to package my module.
