You mean Coreutils version 8.6 onward. Fortunately Debian Stable Squeeze has version 8.5 and is not affected. But obviously Wheezy is affected. I think you meant to send this bug report to Ubuntu not Debian since all of the versions you reference are Ubuntu versions instead of Debian versions. But since this applies to Debian Wheezy/Sid I am adjusting the versions accordingly. Bob
