I tried, but couldn't reproduce the bug, IIRC, even with 3.2.21-3
and 3.2.23-1, since the beginning of July. This is a period where
I intensively used the touchpad, and did about 20 reboots and lots
of suspend/resume. If the bug is still there, it's surprising that
I haven't noticed it.

Note: I don't know whether this is related, but there is an
inconsistency in keyboard detection too:
