Sounds reasonable to me.

Going forward it's probably best that anyone who needs such things considers 
rewriting it.  The environment today is a lot different than it was when I 
wrote that program.

Probably the best thing to do for someone who needs that sort of thing is to 
have a program which takes a message from stdin or a file and writes it to the 
mail store and have it based around the idea of a mail store owned by one user 
not a user account per mailbox.
